You need to be 18 or older. By making an account, you're confirming that you are.
Sign-in runs through Google, so keep that secure. Whatever happens on your account counts as you doing it. One account per person, that's it. Making extras to farm referrals, boost your leaderboard spot, stack starting balances, or duel yourself gets everything involved wiped.
Don't pick a username that impersonates someone else, an artist, a brand, or us, and don't make it obscene or built to harass anyone. We can reclaim a name that breaks this.
Clout is virtual, in-game currency. It's not money, and it doesn't count as credit, property, a security, or anything of the sort. Specifically: it can't be bought with real money, can't be sold or cashed out for real money, can't be moved between players outside the game's own mechanics, and has zero value once you're not in the game. Your balance isn't a debt we owe you, and you don't own it in any legal sense. You've got a licence to use it inside CloutX, full stop.
We can rebalance prices, tiers, multipliers, or balances when a bug or exploit makes it necessary. If it ever happens at scale, we'll say so in the app.
Artist prices are game scores built from public data, like streaming and follower numbers, refreshed regularly. A price on CloutX isn't a valuation of an artist, isn't a judgment of their talent, isn't a financial product, and isn't a stake in anything they own or earn. It's a number in a game. Public data isn't perfect, it can lag or land wrong, and we don't guarantee any figure on the board is accurate. We're not liable for what you do in the game because of a number that turned out to be off.
You can stake Clout on the daily Slate or against another player in a Duel. Everything staked or won there is Clout, so everything above about Clout applies here too. Stakes are capped as a share of your net worth in-game, and that's enforced on our end. Multipliers get locked in the moment you place a bet, and they carry a margin, so there's no strategy that beats the house over time by default. Everything locks and settles on the daily cycle. If something breaks a round, like a bug or a missing price update, we can void it and give the stake back.
Nothing here involves real money. Nothing here is gambling. You can't lose money in the Arena, and you can't win it either.

We're not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any artist, label, or platform listed here, unless we say otherwise directly. Listing someone doesn't mean they know about us or approve of it. Some artists sit as Legacy, meaning they're honoured on the board and can't be traded. Any artist or their team can get removed anytime by emailing parth@cloutchaserz.com. No explanation required, no questions asked.
Send us names you think should be listed. If we list one, whoever submitted it first gets scout credit and a Clout bonus. We decide what gets listed, and submitting doesn't guarantee anything. Don't fake submissions or use multiple accounts to farm bonuses.
Bonuses of any kind are ours to give, change, or pull, whenever. Referrals need to be real people signing up on their own. Fake accounts, bought signups, or gamed referrals get reversed, and the accounts involved get closed.
Run multiple accounts, use bots or scripts instead of the actual app, exploit a bug instead of reporting it, manipulate prices or leaderboards, scrape our data, mess with our security, harass anyone here, or use CloutX for anything illegal. Any of this gets you removed.
You own your bio, submissions, and messages to us. By posting them, you're letting us display and use them to run and promote CloutX, including showing your name on leaderboards and share cards. Only post what's actually yours.
CloutX is still being built. Features, prices, tiers, and modes will change, and some things will get pulled entirely. We might reset parts of the economy if we need to. We can suspend or shut the whole thing down whenever we want, and we'll try to give notice if we can. Don't treat any balance or rank here as permanent.
We can suspend or close your account, wipe Clout, or void results if you break these terms or we think you're cheating. You can delete your own account anytime in Settings. That's permanent too.
CloutX is provided as-is. We're not promising it'll always work, that prices will always be right, or that nothing will ever break. As far as the law lets us, we're not liable for indirect losses, lost data, lost Clout, or lost rank. Since this is free and no money changes hands, the absolute most we're liable for on any claim is one thousand rupees. Nothing here cuts out liability that Indian law says can't be cut out.
If you do something that gets us in legal trouble, whether by breaking these terms or misusing the app, you're covering us for it.
Spotify, Instagram, X, Google, whatever. We don't control them and we're not responsible for what happens there. Their rules apply once you're on their turf.
Indian law governs everything here, and Indian courts have jurisdiction. But before anyone goes anywhere near a courtroom, email parth@cloutchaserz.com first and let's actually try to sort it out. Most things are sortable.
If one part of this doesn't hold up legally, the rest still does. Us not enforcing something once doesn't mean we're waiving it forever. This page plus the Privacy Policy is the whole deal between us. You can't hand your account off to someone else.
