CloutX (also called Clout Exchange) is a free game run under the Clout Chaserz name, at cloutchaserz.com and play.cloutchaserz.com. This page explains what we collect, why, and what your options are. By using CloutX, you’re agreeing to this.

Clout Chaserz is an independent project. For anything data-related, you can reach us at parth@cloutchaserz.com.
From Google, when you sign in. Your name, email, and profile picture. We never see your password, and we don't touch anything else in your Google account.
From you, inside the app. Username, display name, bio, avatar, favourite artist, artist submissions, bug reports, and any other data you provide yourself.
From playing. Your Clout balance, holdings, trade history, Arena bets and duel results, streaks, referral code, squad, check-ins, leaderboard position, and other in-game activities.
Automatically. IP address, browser and device type, rough location at a city level, pages visited, and what link brought you here. This runs through Google Analytics.
If you email us. Your message and our reply.
We don't collect payment details, bank info, UPI IDs, Aadhaar, PAN, GPS location, contacts, or anything from your camera or mic. There's nothing to buy on CloutX, so there's nothing financial for us to hold.
Run your account, run the game, price the board, settle Arena bets and duels overnight, work out leaderboards and streaks, credit referrals and bonuses, reply when you contact us, catch cheating, keep the service secure, and see what's actually bringing people to the site. We don't use your data for anything outside running CloutX.
Not to advertisers, not to data brokers, not to anyone. We don't run ads on CloutX and we don't profile you for anyone else's marketing. The only outside parties who touch your data are the ones who help us run the service, and they only get what they need to do that job.
Your username, avatar, rank, and leaderboard spot are public. Your portfolio and trade history stay public unless you flip on Private Profile in Settings, which is off by default. Your squad can see what you're backing inside the squad. Anything you put in your bio is public. Share cards only exist wherever you post them, and once you've posted one, the platform you posted it to is in charge of it, not us.
Google, for sign-in and analytics. Supabase, for our database. Our domain and hosting providers, to serve the site. Scrapers, to update daily artist data. We'd only hand data to anyone else if the law made us, or if we were chasing down cheating or a security issue.
One cookie to keep you signed in, and Google Analytics to count visits. No ad trackers, which is why there's no cookie popup here. Block cookies in your browser if you want, but sign-in won't work properly.
As long as your account exists, since your trade history is the whole point of the game. Delete Account in Settings wipes your balance, holdings, trade history, and profile for good. It's permanent. A copy might sit in a backup for a short while afterward before it cycles out.
Under India's DPDP Act, you can ask what we hold on you, get it corrected, get it deleted, or complain if we've mishandled it. Most of this you can do yourself in Settings. For anything else, email us.
Sign-in runs through Google so we never see your password. Everything moves over HTTPS and only the people who need database access have it. No system is unbreakable, and if something ever goes wrong with your data, we'll tell you and notify the Data Protection Board as required.
CloutX is for people 18 and up. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone younger, and if we find out we have, we delete it. If you're a parent and think that's happened, email us.
We list artists using data that's already public, like streaming and follower numbers. We don't collect anything private about them, and being listed doesn't make them a customer of ours. Any artist or their team can ask to be pulled off the board anytime, no explanation needed, just email us.
We'll update this page as things change, and if it's a real change, we'll try to flag it in the app. Using CloutX after that means you're good with the update.
parth@cloutchaserz.com, which is also the grievance contact under Indian IT rules. We'll acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and aim to sort them within 15 days.
